Sir. we are continuously insisting Bd. It is unfairly delayed because of prejudice of personnel management and certain Degree engineers. As a Next stage we plan for the rally at all regions during first week of October 2013 and to hand over representation to the District collectors to invite the attn of the govt. We are confident that the govt understand the Bias and will take positive decision since our demands are already agreed, genuine and justified.

Engineer/Civil before 31.10.2013. The Deputy Chief Engineer explained about
 the  additional particulars called for  from another 54 AEs and 24 JEs
 suitable for promotion to the post of AEES and requested to arrange to
send the above particulars taking personal interest , through your unions,
etc. so that DPC  can be arranged during september  month itself and orders
issued before my retirement.  I request please look in to the matter and do

As per B.P .224 dt Nov.2009 experience required for awarding special grade is 10 years after sel.gr(9 years) i.e.9+10 years.Considering the pathetic condition of JE I Gr.not getting any promotion even after 17/18 years, it is requested that Special Grade criteria may be revised from 9+10 years to 9+8 years thro forthcoming wage revision talks.

13-08-2013		 Sir, Do something fruitful for AE I/S for ECE/CSE/IT, giving continued representations will do nothing, Gate meeting by all members of sangam before Board office some days before was dropped, plan for another meeting. What if quantum exceeds the norms, 1)Are non electrical engineers not suitable for O&M, 2)Are only CSE/IT candidates are selected for AE/MIS, 3)Why ECE/CSE/IT candidates are selected for AE/Elec. through IS on some later date, 4)Now a days every operation in Board is computerised then why dont they prefer CSE/IT engineers Ask the Board to consider this issue seriously rather going for direct recruitment every time, When some information is asked from senior members of sangam, they ask us wait and they say that they waited for a long time for their promotions, is that the way they reply.

sir, we understand your feelings, but there procedures to be followed in the Board. Sangam will take up issues at the appropriate time. Seniors will inform the past experiences to the juniors it is their duty to inform you the juniors. we must understand that always we have to struggle for our rights.

ASSISTANT recruitment. In the Santhome and guindy Employment office, they told up to 2005 seniority batch is eligible for EB recruitment. But in my
home town Thiruvarur Employment office, the told Recruitment up to 1985 to 1995 batch only allowed for EB recruitment. We know that Government age limit is 35 years, if we compare with 1985-1995 batch I think they cross
that age limit. So please kindly help me for this Confusion, last EB

05-08-2013		 .For quick response to consumers complaint registered in CCMS it is to be
viewed directly and attended by section officers directly.Now it is
conveyed through SE/office which makes delay. 2. In static meters the auto
scroll should be display only KWH,KVAH,MD.now the meters display nearly 10
to 20 parameters which leads incorrect reading taken by assessors,and
unwanted time taken to take reading.

Recently also we have insisted to  purchase meters to suit boards requirement and not to go for manfacturers options. To  implement it , to suit boards requirements , needs dedicated and field reality known persons.

section 21000 thousands services are included.

They said my exces basic Rs.690/- will be merged with G.P. not fixed as Personal Pay. Some other Circles they fixed the excess pay as Personal Pay. which is correct ? and the Sixth pay Commision says what about the pay fixation when internal selection ?

grade pay of JE's will be Rs.5100. The G.O 242 dt.22.07.2013 says Rs.1000/-
p.m. as a Special Compensatory Allowance for the arduous nature of their
work. This allowance is eligible or not for the board engineers, any
representation is submitted to the board by SANGAM.

As requested by you I am herewith submitting my suggestions to increase the boards revenue 7% to 10% in the coming months.

1.) By replacing the defective meters in the services immediately.

2.) Effecting of new services immediately without delay.

3.) By collecting the average amount with out any omission for the defective meter period in the services.

4.) periodical inspection of services to maintain correct tariffs.

5.) By collecting Levy amount as per  the electricity act 2003 for the violations noticed without omission.

6.) By revising the tariff rates only who consumes more energy.with out affecting the pupils below BPL.

7.) By collecting the long pending arrears outstanding amounts from the consumers like local body, Government arrears. etc.

8.) Replacement of old electromechanical meter in the services by electronic meters purchased  in the standard companies.

9.) By  corruption free administration.

10.) Giving employment to educated young youths this will help the board and families who get employment.

11.) In the distribution sections duplicate PR is not necessary.

12.) Application of correct tariff.

13.) By collecting CC charges in advance by giving cash discounts who pay the cc charges in advance.

14.) Sale of scrap material by action immediately it will increase the revenue and avoid theft  of materials.

15.) periodical health checkup to the employees of the board it will help smooth running of the offices.

16.) By giving tariff concession to the consumers who consumed energy in the off peak periods

17.) By maintaining uninterrupted power supply by avoiding unnecessary total shutdowns.

18.) By collecting the toll gate fee who used the board road.

19.) By giving the vacant board quarters to the govt employees who requires as on actual rental basis.

20.) By accepting the cc charges from the agricultural consumers who voluntarily remitting the cc charges.

21.) By providing e- mail facility to the section office level.

22.) By replacing the old con dammed vehicles.

23.) By giving contract to the suppliers who gives the quality products.

24.) By avoiding unnecessary meeting and conferences.

25.) By selling energy card to the particular services who purchase energy from board  in advance cash payment by giving cash discounts to the consumers.It will reduce the loan burden and interest burden of the board.

sir, Board revenue increase 7% some points raised my opinion below

    1. Theft  detected wing to improve or increase vide AE IE rules, 

    2. non payment of cc charges consumers physically DC  

    3. miscellaneous charges to raise slightly Eg. ARF 50 to 100,  

    4. DCW Estimate labour charges sanctioned only 30 % instead of actual labour 

    5. all agl consumers to install the capacitor nowadays more than 90% consumers not install capacitor or                        defective. to improve this one, consume power is immediately  low 

    6. Temp. Supply consumers to fix MD recorded Energy meters including S Q and   3 Q to improve revenue

1.Ensure the Quality of "High Quality Meters."Procurement of Meters without any compromise in the quality and rate.
2.Implementation of responsibility each and every Board employee.
3.Reduction of failure of Dtrs.By providing sufficient Tr.oil for top upping DTrs.For the past three years no oil supply.Max Dtr failure occurred without oil.
4.Strengthening of staff strength in all field.
5.to avoid Outages due to line cut etc by providing quality conductor.
6.For accurate calculation of line losses,Meter should provide in each and every feeder.
7.Policy decision will be made to provide meter and materials by the consumer in case shortages and delay in procurement.
8.Incentive will be made if 100% DC to the staff like NSA etc.
9.Now very vital point is shortage of meters and materials for the revenue loss to the board.
10.Resume the MRT sections for ensuring the quality of meters.

On 17.04.2010 sangam has given a letter to Chairman (GS REP D DT 17 04 2010) to take urget action to fill up Technical Assistant vacant posts. Further Honourable Minister for Electricity, on 03.10.2009, at the State
Conference of Sangam announced as follows.
“ Further 1100 posts of Technical Assistants would be filled up. The list is
readily available. I will inform the Chairman / Tamil Nadu Electricity Board
to place the matter before the next Board meeting for approval and

IN BOARD cug scheme the distribution AE GETS BENEFIT OF RS 100 PER MONTH FOR CUG BILLING.but in some of the circles i know that SUBSTATION AES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GET THE BENEFIT.also operation circle peoples are not getting this benefit.please arrange the same in future

outsourcing policy reduces the quality of the work . Promotion chances of the employees will affect. Contractors and some others will get more benefit. It prevents the regular employment of the youngsters. It may leads to privatisationon of the T.N.E.B .Hence J.A.C should  protest the outsourcing policy in T.N.E.B.
